Hello Whisky Drinkers
I am looking for some whisky fanatics to aid me in my 4th year Product design project.
I am looking to generate a few cultural probes (a technique used to inspire ideas in a design process) So I am looking to create a product that will educate consumers of whisky about the process's involved in the creations of whisky so they can appreciate all the different stages and process's whisky has gone through.
I am very much aware of the global potential of Scotch whisky in terms of exports and I am really interested not just to get Scottish feedback but any country through out the world. literally any.
If you are a keen whisky drinker and are willing to help or know any foreign whisky drinkers that would be able to help please get in touch.
This will only take 5 mins to do and will really help myself and will be greatly appreciated.
For further details please contact myself,
Cheers. _________________ Ewan Baird |

I'll give it a go Ewan, why ever not. Whisper it quietly, but I'm an Englishman!!!!
I'll not direct message you at this stage though, I'd rather you came back here and saw the replies in this thread, kind of wanting to see you investing time here before I invest my time in you.
Good luck |

Thank you very much for your time and I wont hold it against you being English!
Also perfectly understandable considering this was my first post on any whisky forum I just thought it would be a really good way of getting in contact with all sorts of whisky drinkers from all parts of the world. _________________ Ewan Baird |

Good man Ewan!
You've happened upon a fairly good place with a diverse whisky drinking population, so it should serve you well in your quest.
We have a fair number of people from around the world here, certainly from the US and Canada.
I'm also more than happy to help out however I can.
Good luck with your 4th year project, I genuinly mean that |

Ewan we have had a few university students here in the past doing research. You will find you will get the best response if you post your questions here and whoever wants to can reply to you or you could create an online survey/questionnaire which forum members can complete. Previously uni students doing research used a free services such as http://kwiksurveys.com/ _________________ There's no bad whisky. Just good whisky and better whisky. |
