Hi folks
This is the dram that blew me away.
I'm interested in your personal opinions on this whisky.

The Bruichladdich Infinity 2nd and 3rd edition were brilliant also but you would be lucky to find a bottle of any of them now for a decent price. It contained a good portion of young heavily peated Port Charlotte mixed with the lightly peated Bruichladdich and it really worked well being matured in refill sherry casks.
Have you tried Port Charlotte (produced at Bruichladdich) yet, i would think you would probably like it. The Port Charlotte The Peat Project was excellent but i think that may have been replaced by the new Port Charlotte Scottish Barley which has been bottled at 50%, havent tried it yet but it is on my hit list. |

| Yes the Bruichladdich Infinity was superb, just one of the many Laddie experiments as it came of age, probably the Port Charlotte that made it what it was. |

| I've got a bottle of each edition at the back of my drinks cabinet. Anyone know if they're planning a 4th? |

| I would doubt it Jeff, i think Laddie is moving away from the what seemed an endless line of small batch varied finish releases since they were bought over by Remy Cointreau. I think Remy plan on establishing a core range. |

Thank Guys
Port Charlotte has now been added to my list of whiskies to try.
Think I'm going to buy a bottle of infinity at auction sometime if the price is right

I had a port Charlotte this evening it really is excellent. I've had several Port Charlottes from the SMWS and at cask strength they really are something else. |

| There has always been a lack of Port Chalotte this side of the water which is a a pity as it sounds like a whisky i should like. |

Samson i didnt see that much of the small release Laddie or Port Charlotte here in Nevada but it probably wasnt aimmed at this market.
With the premium price that the smoky whiskiskies now demand i am surprised that some of the Scottish mainland distilleries dont start producing peated whisky. |

They are. Glen Moray, Tomatin and Benriach spring to mind |
