Hi
I have a bottle of batch 9 sealed and in the box, just wondered whether this has any value? Had intended keeping it for personal consumption but ill health of a liverous nature forces sale.....
Any ideas as to its worth greatly received before I put it on the market. I have looked around but as most folk appear to have drunk theirs there doesn't seem to be any of this batch left out there to get an idea of value!
Sorry to hear that Glenn, even though it is a great dram i dont think even the early batches of the Aberlour a'bunadh fetches a great deal at auction. Around £60 - £70 i would say.
Glenn i would agree with James estimate, you will find some good examples here of what the different batches of Aberlour a'bunadh sells for at auction:
Remember you will have the cost of getting the bottle to the auctioneer and the auction costs to consider which means Aberlour a'bunadh wont really fetch a great deal more than you paid for it. _________________ There's no bad whisky. Just good whisky and better whisky.
