I have heard that Lidl will not be releasing any bottles of their Maxwell malt this year. Very little more to say except "What a pity".
Has anyone heard anything to the contrary?

I wonder if they have reassessed the PR value of the exercise. There are inevitably many more disappointed people who got up at 5am than those who get bottles and how much extra trade is generated is open to question.

I wonder if Aldi will have anything new this Christmas. The Glenbridge 40 from two years ago proved heavily oversubscribed but last year's Glen Orrin 30yo blend is still available in my local store.
