An Evening with Iain McCallum, the Companions of the Quaich and the Devil is a piece submitted by Murray Cohen, Order of the Companions of the Quaich, Ontario Canada a member of our whisky forum (Quaich1) and the sites first guest writer in Whisky Focus. Murray recently had the chance to meet up with Morrison Bowmore's Master of Malts Iain McCallum and he has been good enough to share with us his evening of Scotch tasting and more.

| This was an excellently written piece and I am incredibly jealous, but also gob-smacked that Murray managed to write at such length without complaining once at the price of a bottle in Canada! |

Thanks Murray,
A brilliant article and a great read. I was fortunate enough to spend an evening with Iain earlier this year in Las Vegas. Several things you mention struck a cord with me, mainly how enthusiastic he is about everything whisky, but also how someone who could be far removed from the whisky drinker at the top of this game still has a real connection with us humble whisky drinkers at the bottom, thanks again for a great article.
Regards
Rob |
