GlenDronach have announced the release of Batch 3 of their popular GlenDronach Cask Strength bottling. They tell me that voluptuous, intense and astounding are three adjectives which have been used by those who have just sampled GlenDronach's latest cask strength batch which was launched this month.
Batch 3 has been released with GlenDronach's trademark combination of Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks aiding its careful maturation.

I opened a bottle last night and it is very very good.
I have been drinking the single casks of late so maybe at first I thought that Batch 3 was a little "thin', however on reflection this is only because the single casks are so chewy and substantial.
Excellent deep flavor and long finish amazing value for a £50ish bottle |
