Welcome Mark.
Good to have some new blood here. Sounds like you're keen to contribute which is always good. We don't need more lurkers (Hello lurkers *waves*)
My brother works at Man airport but he's nota whisky man.
Do you get discount there? And do you get to try the available whisky?and lastly do you get the heads up on what's coming out in the travel retail world ahead of time? you could bea new forum news breaker. Though you have to be quick to beat William to the punch on New whisky news. |

Hi Thanks to you all for the lovely welcome,it is appreciated.
Albo,I don't get discount but we do have a staff shop that sometimes do some amazing deals eg Glenfiddich millennium vintage for £19.99 !
Also we get to try any whisky we want to..great eh?...but it must be in a management controlled situation where they pour it and we have a discussion about the whisky we try,it all helps to sell it of course. |

Welcome to the forum skell, I pass through Glasgow airport most weeks where the girls working in WoW have a good knowledge and enthusiasm for Scotch malt whisky.
Have you tried any of the new Strathspey Reserve 21 year old blended whisky from William Grant which is exclusive to World of Whiskies better still were you involved in its selection or have you tasted it. _________________ There's no bad whisky. Just good whisky and better whisky. |

| Hi William, thanks for the welcome. We have the cask chosen by my lucky colleague Ian at Manchester, sadly we have no tasting stock yet.At £99 I might need some convincing to part with my hard earned for a blend rather than a single malt....time will tell. |
