Last month I visited Dalmore through work..The distillery wasn't in production so Richard Paterson showed us around and allowed us to take pictures.The purpose of the visit was to launch the Dalmore 25 yr old,which IMHO was better than the 30 yo.We signed the cask,which was a real pleasure and then we went back to the lodge we were staying at to drink the King Alexander,and copious amounts of the 15 yr old accompanied by some very large Cuban cigars.........Sheer hell but someone has to do it  |

| That does sound like a good disitllery visit. I have tasted a few of the older Dalmores at tastings and they have been excellent and I would love to try a full bottle of a few of the older Dalmores to fully get to know them and enjpy them but they are not priced for my budget. To be honest I'm not a Dalmore fan. I'm not saying I'd not have loved to do what you did mind. But I do wish Dalmore would cut out the heavy use of E150a.
Do you have and pics you could post up? |

As Mr Paterson would say it's all about consistency ..in terms of piccies ,I will see what I can do ! |

I've had a bottle of the 15, it's very nice if slightly overpriced (the whole range is overpriced IMHO). What stogies did you have?
