Thought we should get an Amazon thread on the go. They often have very good prices for whisky and, additionally, most of them qualify for free shipping, which counts for a lot! However they don't show up in Google Shopping searches so it's worth double checking there when shopping online.
I just purchased a bottle of Glenfarclas 40 and, although I went to the Scotch Whisky Experience shop (I got 10% off with my ambassador card, making it £261) by far the best price available online was at Amazon. At time of posting it was available for £259.78:
