I have been eyeing a few of their older releases like a Bunna 21, has anyone ever had any of the bottling's they sell.

I ask because 99.00 USD is cheap for a 21 year old whisky in comparison Macallan 21 can cost almost 1000.00 USD in my area.

I have never come across Faultline independent whisky bottler before, it sounds like their bottlings are exclusively available in the US and doing a quick search their whisky only appears to be available from K&L Wines in California.

Indie bottlings often offer great value over the original distillery bottlings, often they are single cask bottlings so there wont be many reviews of it around if any. The very nature of single cask bottlings means there is no guarantee if one cask is brilliant that the next cask will be also.

Do you have any other info on the Faultline Bunnahabhain 21, is it heavily peated as some Bunna is and in my experience is better for it, what type of cask is it from as for me if it was a heavily peated Bunna from a sherry cask aged for 21 years i would jump at it.

I've never heard of them, but at that price for a 21yo you cant really go wrong.

Faultline is K&L Wines own privately owned label, i believe they offer a collection of Faultline gin, cognac, rum, and bourbon and Scotch malt whisky under their Faultline label. I believe it is intended to be K&L Wines best value for money line.
