Here's a new twist to Canadian spirits-Moonshine made in Canada and sold at the LCBO no less.
"The Toronto Distillery Co. has just released its first batch of Organic Ontario Wheat Spirit, made from organic wheat grown in Schomberg and distilled in Toronto". Only about 175 bottles available for all of Ontario.
Check it out at:

It would be interesting try but not sure i would be able to get through a full bottle, they really should consider maturing the stuff into whisky as a long term investment as i doubt they would get many repeat customers with what is really new make spirit. I wonder what they are storing the huge inventory in that they mention.

I wonder what the set up costs were to get this up and running.

Perhaps selling a load as moonshine will pay for the startup costs while some stock matures.
