That's another year flown by.
I would like to thank all members old and new here at the SMW Forum for your support and contributions to the site over the past year and I hope you have enjoyed your time here over the past year and that the forum has lead you to some great whiskies.
I would like to wish you all very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in 2013.
I hope you all get the malt whiskies you wanted for Christmas, and I will see you all back here over the holidays or in the New Year when you can tell us all about them.

William - Thanks for the wishes and your site. It's a useful and friendly place to chat about whisky. Wishing yourself and your family / friends a wonderful Christmas and New Year
Everyone else, thanks for the updates, giggles and usual nonsense. Again, wishing yourselves, friends and family a wonderful Christmas and New Year.
Oh and as an early Christmas gift I got a mini Toshan 18yo, I've not tried the 18yo so it'll be interesting. |

Thanks William a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and all my Fellow Forum Fellows
PS Can't wait to open the presents from my four children and my wife, they don't know it yet but each one bought me a nice bottle of whisky.

Just relaxing with a pour of my favorite Canadian whisky, Danfield's 21 Year old Small Batch Limited Edition, one of this year's Whiskies of the World. A toast to you all for the season_:
"May this sweetest oldtime greeting
Heavily laden with good cheers
Bring content, and peace and plenty
Enough to last through all the Year".

Thank you very much William! I only joined the forum this year and have to thank you and many other members for recommending whiskies to me that I didn't even know existed and have really enjoyed.
2 that spring to mind are the Glenlivet 12 first fill recommended to me when I asked for people's help as what to get duty free and Secondaly the Bowmore 100 Degrees proof recommended by you William which is excellent.
Thank you all for sharing your expertise with me and a merry Xmas to all.
Regards
Rob |
