I have been offered a bottle of Ealanta for £120 from a friend's collection as I have been discussing the private editions with him following the latest release.
This will be for consumption and may be cracked open when my missus gives birth.
I missed out on all private bottlings previously, so would like to try one.
Any thoughts on whether it would be "worth' it, especially those that have tried it? |

I'm pretty sure that makes him a flipper!! On a more serious note I have found all the Glenmorangie private editions to be excellent and did like the Ealanta which I found quite different to their everyday bottlings. It also has an age statement with is a big positive to me. Considering the release price and what it is currently on sale on line for (I goggled to and found it for £160) I think £120 is a fair price and your only going to have to pay more in time for this one I suspect as it will go up in price. |

I would say it is a special whisky and a good choice to wet the babys head. |

| I just got two delivered by my supplier. Apparently they have had some returned from an international sale. I was asked to get some for a couple of regulars. One is unsure if he still wants it, If he says no I will give you first dibs at cost. Think it was around £70. Will ask him over the the weekend. |

He sure is - he reminds me of Richard Rawlins from Fast and Loud.
