SCOTLAND'S largest independent whisky bottling plant has been fined £12,000 after 5,000 litres of the spirit was spilled into the River Ayr. Apparently 67%abv.

That's the company that own Loch Lomond distillery, topically enough (given my thread on Coffey malt in the malt forum). They don't come across as the most scrupulous outfit it must be said, but then neither do the likes of Diageo. _________________ "Whisky is liquid sunshine."
