Hi folks,
I am new to this forum, and I'm looking for information on a particular whisky, which I found at an auction site:
http://www.lauritz.com/en/auktion/4-fl-diverse-single-malt-whisky-4/i3271479/#
This is an auction for 4 bottles, two of which (the Laphroaig's) will almost certainly please me.
The one I'm most interested in, however, is the 20 year old Rosebank from Douglas Laing's Old Malt Cask line. It was distilled in february of 1990 and holds 50%.
Up until quite recently I had never had a poor Rosebank, but due to a rather disappointing impulse buy I made last month, I am a bit wary. Therefore, I would appreciate any comments with advice on this particular dram. |

Hjensen, welcome to the SMW forum.
The Old Malt Cask Rosebank 20 year old cask no. 6815 is a particulary good example of Rosebank, in fact amongst the best i have tasted from Risebank, plenty of citrus, vanilla, sweet barley and spice. _________________ There's no bad whisky. Just good whisky and better whisky. |
