I was wondering if anyone on here has ever tried the Machrie Moor expression, my local bevmo has this expression in stock. Every reviewer online has given it mediocre reviews, I am a fan of the Arran 10 and would love to try the peated expression at the same time for 59.99 it is a bit up there in price I don't want to buy a whisky that proves to be mediocre at best. _________________ The Laga 16.

It isnt a bad whisky but it is far from the greatest, not much fruit, not that much peat a sour bitterness, it is ok, i would score it at 75/100, i really wanted to like it but there is much better than this around for the price tag. _________________ There's no bad whisky. Such a shame, what would you recommend at around $59.99. _________________ The Laga 16.

| I wasnt too impressed with the Arran Machrie Moor either, i guess i expected more peat and it did have a bitterness. Have you tried the Arran 14, it is a great dram. |

It is hard to find anything that is not the Arran 10 in my area, I was thinking Glenfarclas 105 cask strength or the Bunna 12. _________________ The Laga 16.
