Here's my taste notes from last night-
Neat-
Full bodied, mahogany in color.
Nose: Apple n' spice, cinnamon, stewed pears and salty licorice.
Palate: Old-fashioned apple pie that Grandma used to make, heavy fruit syrup, black licorice, tobacco, and juicy nectarines right off the tree.
Finish: Long, spice, rich blood oranges, marmelade and hot tar smoking on a sunny day.
***This is a wonderful chameleon of aromas and flavors changing intensity and notes like a revolving door, exciting and memorable. I love it.

| I got myself a bottle of the Glendronach Cask Strength batch 3, couldnt resist a wee sample, love it. It is now in the cupboard and will be drunk with a few others over the chrisytmas holidays. |
