| I am trying to get hold of a bottle each of the G&M Oak Port Cask and Oak Brandy Cask Speyside malt whiskies that they produced some years ago (in the 1990s?), but don't do any longer. I have tried various websites (both shop and auction) and have either missed out on the timing (they were in auctions before I started looking or before I found the relevant site) or run up against ridiculous prices (three times the most recent winning bids) - can anyone on this forum help me out? |

| It is the right whisky, but that is one of the ridiculous prices I came across: the bottles I missed at auction last year were between £120 and £130GBP, so this is about 2.5 to 3 times as much! At that price, it isn't worth it. (In fact, that would be expensive for both bottles together!) I've paid more than that for really good, rare whisky, but not this... |
