I've never tried it personally. In fact I don't think i've ever tried a Rosebank at all.

As for price, what are they asking for it? The SMWS recently released a 22yo Rosebank at cask strength 50.0% abv and they were asking £112.50 for that.

It sold out quite quickly too, which considering it was available for purchase at venues only (I beleive), tells me it was in rather high demand.

That should give you at least a reference price point.

Sorry I can't help any more than that.

Not that it is much help for this bottle but tried the 1990 official release and it was not to my taste at all, like drinking liquid flowers mixed with Parma Violets. Rightly or wrongly haven't touched Roswbank since.

Thanks for your replies. The bottle in question is for sale at a specialist cigar shop which also has a few malts for sale. Asking price is 200.00.
Think i will pass.
Once again thanks.

Mmmmm still got a spare one of those knocking about somewhere (one for a stormy day as the price is flying up), I presonally love it, very floral.

Incidentally, paid £140 for mine (per bottle) about a year ago.

So £200 for an indie bottling seems a little steep.
