If you mean the 2011 Laphroaig 25 cask strength then i can recommend it without hesitation, it is outstanding. Has some oloroso sherry cask Laphroaig in it and some bourbon cask matured Laphroaig.

If memory serves me correctly i paid £240 about 3 years ago i think. Surprisingly the price at TWE today is £320 compared to the 40% 25 year old they have at £499

I have had a bottle of the Laphroaig 25 Cask Strength, with its sherry cask influence and its bottling strength for me makes it superior to the standard Laphroaig 25 40% abv offering which is superb also but the bottling strength and addition of sherry matured whisky does it for me.

I've had some older Laphroaigs 20yo + at the SMWS not all have been that great in my opinion. None bad but I still think that a islay is more often than not better at a younger age
