| I think that the Scotch Whisky Association put a lot of money, time and effort persuing the counterfeiters. Personally i have never come across a counterfeit bottle of whisky. |

I'm sure it was Bifter who told me they sell more bottles of Johnny Walker Red lable in India each year than they make in Scotland, such is the problem with counterfitting |

Funny that you mention the Johnnie Walker Double Black pourer, when the Double Blacjk was launched i added a piece on it to the web site and it attracted over 15,000 visitors a day for over a year and you wouldnt believe the complaints i received from all over the world via the contact us form on the site about the pourer. Many visitors to the site assume www.scotchmaltwhisky.co.uk is some type of official website for all Scotch whisky brands. _________________ There's no bad whisky. Lol!!
William taking industry abuse.
It must have been drastic to get them to have to include a measured pourer on the bottle, I would imagine it's bad for sales having something which pours an exact measure, as I'm sure most people at home will ahnd pour and thus get through a bottle much quicker. |

| I have read that counterfeiting is pretty bad in places like Africa and India and genuine bottles are being reused and filled with fake whisky, the pourer is to combat this and cant be removed and the bottle cant be refilled. |
