The Singleton of Dufftown has added two new expressions to its range of single malt whisky, The Singleton of Dufftown Tailfire and Sunray.
More info here:

Both the new whiskies are now available from The Whisky Exchange:
The Singleton of Dufftown Tailfire
The Singleton of Dufftown Sunray
They also recently released the travel retail exclusive Singleton Reserve Collection which is 3 new Singleton of Dufftown expressions Artisan, Liberte and Trinite which are now on shelves at airports in the UK. _________________ There's no bad whisky. Just good whisky and better whisky. |

At the price I guess I can keep an open mind on these though I note a lot of the same buzz words as were used for recent releases like Talisker Storm. No info about the future of the similarly priced 12?

AFAIK the 12 will continue and so will the Singleton of Dufftown 15 and 18 year old which are both usually reasonably priced, £52 for the 18 over at TWE. I have never been very impressed with the 12 but the 15 and 18 are pretty good easy drinking Speyside malts. All could benefit though from an increase in ABV but couldnt a lot of whiskies.
I just reallised that i made a mistake with one the names of one of the travel retail Singleton of Dufftown expressions which were released last year, it should have been Artisan, Trinite and Unite which are available in the UK, Europe and Middle East and North Africa travel retail.
I believe that the both the Singleton of Glen Ord and Singleton of Glendullan each have 3 new travel retail expressions named Artisan, Liberte and Trinite. Singleton of Glen Ord is available in the Americas travel retail market and the Singleton of Glendullan is available in Asia Pacific travel retail.
I tasted the Singleton of Dufftown Unite at the airport the other week and it was pretty good, a nice bit of fruitiness and vanilla, £45 for a 1 litre bottle which wasnt bad at all. _________________ There's no bad whisky. Just good whisky and better whisky. |

| I got a bottle of The Singleton of Dufftown 15yo litre bottle from the airport last year, around £40 i think it was, a very easy to drink Speyside malt, still a little tart like the 12 year old but certainly not as acidic at all. I would buy it again. The Tailfire and Sunray could be interesting, sounds like they may have a bit more to their flavour profile, i will look out for them at tastings. |

| I noticed that Tesco are stocking the Singleton of Dufftown Tailfire for £36 so i would guess we may see it on offer in Tesco for £30 or less in the future. |
