Hi,

I'm looking for a 1975 whisky. Would you have any to recommend?

Thanks

If you like a fruity lightly sherried dram then how about the AnCnoc 1975, you will find it at The Whisky Exchange.

A cask strength 1975 with some "oomph" to it would be

MORTLACH 1975
19 Year Old Cask Master Selection (Single Cask)
70cl / 59.9%
Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky

***Also at Whisky Exchange for 299 British pounds.

I do like the older Mortlachs.
Very Happy

gotta love 1970's Ardbeg.

There are a few excellent 1975 editions out there but they are not cheap,
Glenfarclas family cask 1975 is quit a tasty dram, a big big sherry bomb, also I'd say Glenfarclas 40 yo will be about a 1975 although not labelled as it,
The problem is whisky from this era is getting rare so therefore expensive.;

Yes, because I love scotch. Scotchy scotch scotch. Here it goes down, down into my belly.

NB: Other types of whisky are available and comparable in quality. Whilst opelfruit endorses Scotch he does not advocate the consumption solely of Scotch and stands strongly by the mantra of "variety is the spice of life". Please enjoy whisky responsibly.
