I have heard this mentioned a few times in the past. Producing a fuel made from the bi-products of whisky production sounds great but it is the same bi-products that farmers use to feed animals so if all bi-products went to making fuel farmers would would need to pay more for alternative feed for livestock which i am sure would increase the price of food/meat. Is this really worth it for what i am sure will be a very small amount of fuel produced.

Good point James.
