Here is one for the US forum members. In June this year Jura launched Jura Brooklyn exclusively in New York, US. They have now produced more of the whisky and launched it throughout the US.
Jura Brooklyn has been aged up to 16 years in American White Oak Bourbon, Amoroso Sherry and Pinot Noir casks, bottled at 42% ABV, it has a suggested price of $79.99

I think Jura is an underrated expression by many professional whisky pundits (those that get paid for their opinions.
.
I don't know what this new one is like but the Jura expressions I have tried have been excellent, including the Jura 21, 200th Anniversary Edition. I have unopened bottles of the Jura Elixir and Jura 16 Diurach's Own. I also had the opportunity to try Jura 1996, a 15 Year at 56.5%abv, single cask boutique barrel; Jura 15 year 11 months, 1995 and Jura 17 Year, 54%abv 1993 from a single sherry cask-amazing drams!

I could never fault the Jura 10 and Superstition but they dint do it for me. I do like the Prophecy and 16. Apparently there is some excellent older Jura releases.
I see that the Jura Brooklyn is in the Jura online shop for £60 |

I wish Jura would venture more down the heavily peated route. It sounds like there is a bit of smoke in the Jura Brooklyn but i would guess not much, i doubt i will see it here so I do not need to debate whether to buy a bottle or not. |

| I havent read any reviews of the Jura Brooklyn, I wouldnt even have heard of it if it wasnt for Williams post here. As far as older Jura's goes the Jura 30 year old is an outstanding sherry finished whisky. |
