This is an older article regarding: "Blending Whisky - A New Project for College Algebra and Finite Math".
http://pblpathways.com/wp/blending-whisky-a-new-project-for-college-algebra-and-finite-math/
Included in the article is a pdf file (http://www.pblpathways.com/projects/whisky/whisky_list.pdf) of commercially available cask strength Scotch Whiskies (with prices) to be used to solve the problem.. Most of the prices are for a 70 centiliter bottle in 2011. It coincidentally gives a look into what happened to prices since then.

| Just looking through some of the prices, Highland Park 30 was £200.95 and bottled at 48.1% ABV today you pay £385 and is is now bottled at 45.7% ABV which adds to the price difference. |
