|
|
You may recall back in March this year when anCnoc whisky which is produced at the Knockdhu distillery took a step back in time and released three new limited edition peaty expressions of anCnoc named Rutter, Flaughter and Tushkar. On the 1st September they added another limited edition expression to the peaty collection, anCnoc Cutter.
The launch of the anCnoc Cutter to the Peaty Collection also marks the start of a new anCnoc tradition, every year on the 1st September anCnoc whisky fans will see a new peated expression unveiled.
Cutter is the peatiest whisky to be released in the collection so far with a phenol content of 20.5 PPM Non chill-filtered, natural colour and bottled at 46% ABV. It is limited to 12000 bottles in the UK and has a retail recommended price of £52 and will be available from the specialist whisky shop The Whisky Exchange

I tasted the new anCnoc Cutter and it is excellent, if you enjoyed the Flaughter you will like this, the Cutter is very simolar but with the peat level turned up a little. I added my tasting note here:

The new anCnoc Cutter is now available from http://www.thewhiskyexchange.com/P-25967.aspx priced £50.25 _________________ There's no bad whisky. Just good whisky and better whisky. |

William, your taste notes indicate this expression is clearly one to try.
