| Apart from the younger Caol Ila or the Lagavulin these are of no interest at these prices. |

Quite a selection really. I had a sample of the older Cragganmore 26 Year 1985 from the Signatory Cask Strength Collection a few years back and it was outstanding.
I would certainly go for the Lag 12 expression 2002 if available in Ontario at some point. I would love to try the Brora 35 Year as we say here in Canada it's alot of dough.

 | I had a bottle of the Cragganmore 21 year old 2010 Special Release which was very good. To be honest all the Special Releases i have had the pleasure of have been excellent, unfortunately many are are in a much higher price bracket now, as you say Murray a lot of dough.
I wouldnt mind trying the Strathmill 25 year old from this years releases, not a distillery we see much of. _________________ There's no bad whisky. Just good whisky and better whisky. |

Do you think the Port Ellen 35 year old will be limited to one bottle per customer
It is unbelievable the way the price of this whisky has gone. |

Wow, rosebank 21 at £300...I paid £125 for the last 21yo release 2 years ago. Getting to the end of the supply by the looks of it. _________________ "Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whisky is barely enough." |

I just opened my bottle of Port Ellen 31 year old 2010 special release on Saturday which i paid £250 for back in 2010, if i had known prices were going this way this quickly i would have bought every bottle i could have gotten hold of. I cant believe the Port Ellen 2014 special release is £2200
William, the Strathmill 25 year old does stick out as the unknown distllery amongst this bunch. I am not really familiar with the Singleton Of Glendullan which i belive is usually marketed overseas. |

| I will have my usuall Lagavulin 12 but the price on that is creeping up even though it is a mass produced 12 year old, 31,428 is not very limited. |

I have the older version at home too. I note The Whisky Exchange have recently relisted some bottles for sale at a ridiculous £450 each. It was just £165 from Alexander & James 12 months ago. |
