Having been involved with the online process from the start it was nice to receive an email from Glenmorangie asking if I wanted to pre-order this bottle, max 2 per person of course.

At just under £70 a bottle and free delivery it seems a reasonable price but I have to wait until the 29th before they ship Sad

Just wondered who else has pre-ordered?

Got the same e-mail. Redirected to the payment page and paid for my 2. I then received a mail from Glenmorangie later that day 'apologising' for the previous mail. It also stated that more information regarding the ordering of The Taghta' will be forthcoming. I do hope my order has gone through!

It was over a year in coming but Glenmorangie finally unveiled the Glenmorangie Taghta today.

Some info and the official tasting note on the new whisky here:

William it is interesting that Glenmorangie are letting us know it is effectively 10 year old
