Neat-

Nose: Blueberry trifle, slight musk, hint of rhubarb, summer meadow after a rain, assorted nuts, caramel, roasted pistachio and butter cream.
Palate: Creamy, nutty, sweet fruit burst followed by spice and crushed sesame seeds.
Finish: Long, dark chocolate, espresso, oily, dark fruit and herbal notes.

**A few drops of water-

Opens to cereal notes, citrus fruit and mild perfume on nose, bold coffee on the palate and layers of chocolate on the finish with a hint of fruit lozenge.

P.S. I have to say this one is quite complex in a wonderful way. I do prefer it neat.

I do like the Glenfiddich 18, probably the 18 year old malt which i have become most familiar with over the years and one of the best 18 year olds for your money. I agree Quaich1 quite a complex whisky.
