Hi islabeth

There are a few specialist whisky auctions which you could use:

www.scotchwhiskyauctions.com which is based in Glasgow

www.mctears.co.uk which is also in Glasgow

www.bonhams.com which has a auction house in Edinburgh

Specialist whisky shops such as The Whisky Exchange buy as well as sell whisky and it costs nothing to contact them with the details of the whiskies you are selling to see what they may offer.

There is a for sale section on this website. Quite a lot of us would be interested im sure. Also where is the collection located as I am interested in seeing what you have got.

I would stick it up here first. I sold some through the scotch whisky auctions the site crashed coming into the last hour which closed the auction and to be honest they didn't give a flying f--k. I probably lost into hundreds of pounds but will never know for sure.

They took 12% off me plus the £3 pound entry fee. Which I was aware of but it was a bit of a sore one.

On the plus side I have a bit of spare cash to invest in casks.
