I was not familiar with this one.

"The extremely luxurious bottle is essentially a bespoke English Crystal decanter that is adorned with a whopping 8500 diamonds and even features a handsome amount of white gold, along with a generous spread of some 300 rubies encrusted all over the bottle"

They don't say what's in it......

It's the future, it's probably a NAS Ardbeg with an average age of 3 years, you know what they are like with marketing. The next committee release? Laughing

The No. 2 on the list, Aisla T'Orten 105 Year Old 1906 was an April Fools joke from Master of Malt. Rearrange the letters in "Aisla T'Orten distillery" and you get "It's not a real distillery".

I have had a bottle of Macallan 1938 65 year old Speymalt which was outstanding but i didnt pay anywhere near the $460,000 Macallan 64 year old price tag. I wonder how the Macallan 64 would compare to the excellent Macallan 1938 65 yer old.

Did it still have any whisky in it? If so it would have been worth at least £5, maybe £6.

No it was empty, I asked what it was like and they said they thought it was full of Auchentoshan 21 that's why it was so expensive but the bottle did nothing for them so they wanted rid, but I only had £1.50 left ... Wink
