Wade Bells Whisky Bottle 75cl - Advice Needed

Hi, my Dad was given a Bells Scotch Whisky presentation box in about 1975. It's a 75cl bottle and it's still full of whisky and sealed!
My Dad recently died and my Mum doesn't like whisky and is wanting to sell it. We have no idea of it's value and would like some ideas.

Bell s Blended Scotch Whisky, Tan and Cream Wade Decanter

A blended scotch whisky from Arthur Bell & Sons that was bottled in this wade decanter in the 1980's.

Content: 75CL

Price: £75.00

You may wish to just hold on to it for another 10 years and see if its value increases some which is likely. Who knows you may develop a taste for Scotch yourself as you get older.
Being a present to your father, it's also a nice memory.

Although these are iconic whisky decanters they dont tend to fetch much at auction but it should get a few pounds.

If you contact scotchwhiskyauctions.com or mctears.co.uk they should be able to advise you of the current auction value, remember there will be auction costs to come off the selling price which usually works out around 20% and you have to get it to the auction, you can take it there or post it.

Another selling option is to try contacting one of the whisky shops which buys whisky, you could try The Whisky Exchange, their link is at the top of the page. I hope you get a good price whatever you decide.
