The new Macallan 1824 Masters Series is now starting to appear in specialist whisky shops, the new series sits above The Macallan 1824 Series (Gold, Amber, Sienna and Ruby).

Without a doubt a stunningly presented range of bottlings from the iconic Speyside distillery which is well known for its outstanding sherry cask matured single malt whisky and rarer expressions from the distillery have always been sought after by whisky connoisseurs and collectors.

Will this new series of No Age Statement whiskies catch the attention of these same whisky connoisseurs and collectors, with no age statement to indicate the rarity of the whisky in the bottles buyers will be looking to reviews of the new whiskies but strangely there appears to be a distinct lack of reviews of the new whiskies, so if any of you have tried any The Macallan 1824 Masters Series Rare Cask (US exclusive), Reflexion, No.6 or M, let us know what you think.

The Macallan Reflexion, No.6 and M should be available from The Whisky Exchange
for those of you with deep pockets.

You will find more info here and the official tasting notes for the new Macallan 1824 Masters Series:

I would say these wont be for the collectors as they are part of an ongoing core range and are clearly priced for those where money is no object, unfortunately thats not me. It is a pity the Rare Cask isnt available here as that would have been within my budget.
