Newbie here (two years).
My most favourite drop so far over the last two years is the 18 year Glenmorangie. I am slowly training my tastebuds to enjoy Islay smokers, but I'd really like to find a big hitter amongst the non-smokers. Something sweet and fruity.. Possibly even caste strength
Can anyone recommend something suitable |

+1 on this. Entry is very hot though so if your not used to cask strength it can be challenging.
Not cask strength but flavour wise it produces massive amount of it; mid age Balblair. Something around 1997 or the 1999 vintage. Balblair produces a clear wort and a very fruity spirit packed full of lemons. Once it's about 15/16 years old it's really cracking stuff. 46% and Unchill filtered so it really delivers lots of flavour.
Other recommendation would be Glenfiddich 15yo Distillery Edition. 51% version and again very fruity, not as hot on entry as the Glenlivet either. _________________ "Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whisky is barely enough." |

Something on the fruity side would be Glenfarclas 15, if you have not tried it then try it |
