Newbie here (two years).

My most favourite drop so far over the last two years is the 18 year Glenmorangie. I am slowly training my tastebuds to enjoy Islay smokers, but I'd really like to find a big hitter amongst the non-smokers. Something sweet and fruity.. Possibly even caste strength

Can anyone recommend something suitable

Kevin have you tried the Glenlivet Nadurra 16 year old yet? I can highly recommend it

+1 on this. Entry is very hot though so if your not used to cask strength it can be challenging.

Not cask strength but flavour wise it produces massive amount of it; mid age Balblair. Something around 1997 or the 1999 vintage. Balblair produces a clear wort and a very fruity spirit packed full of lemons. Once it's about 15/16 years old it's really cracking stuff. 46% and Unchill filtered so it really delivers lots of flavour.

Other recommendation would be Glenfiddich 15yo Distillery Edition. 51% version and again very fruity, not as hot on entry as the Glenlivet either.

Something on the fruity side would be Glenfarclas 15, if you have not tried it then try it Very Happy
