The Devil's Casks line Batch 1 and 2 has really made an impact on the single malt list of desirables. With the limits in the UK for number of bottles folks can purchase when they are offered, I would think that of the 6000 bottles offered world wide for batch 1 for example that most of them have been opened and enjoyed already, leaving only a small fraction still floating around. Agree? _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

I have a bottle of cask one and two tucked away now.
I walked into Corks out Chester a couple of months ago and got talking with a very knowlegable young man and I happened to mention I was looking for the cask 2 bottle. To my surprise he stated they had a bottle in their Warrington store and would set me back to the tune of £90.After deliberating I said reserve it for me Ill go for it, long story short someone obviously cottoned onto it going for more online and the bottle was no longer available as it was supposedly meant for someone else. After royally kicking off I got the bottle eventually. |
