Has anyone tired the new(ish) anCnoc 18yo yet? I see MoM are selling this now for £65, which for an 18yo at 46% non-chill filtered and natural colour I think it a crack price.
I've only had thier 12yo offering and I found it a very well put together dram, but at 40% needed something more. There was a clear potential in the whisky and at the time I thought extra maturation would make it fantastic. Now I see this 18yo (properly bottled, with all the right words!), so thinking of taking a punt......wanted to get some opinons here first though. _________________ "Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whisky is barely enough." |

| I had a wee sample of the 18, it's fresh, and easy to drink, some nice spicy notes, I wouldn't say it's fantastic but it's worth a punt, the extra strength is a plus, but it still lacks a little something, but not sure what, saying that I'd still buy a bottle.. |
