As you are all probably aware by now John Dewars & Co have launched a whole new range of single malts from the little heard from Aultmore distillery under "The Last Great Malts" banner, the three new expressions in the range are the Aultmore 12 Year Old and Aultmore 25 Year Old and they have also launched the Aultmore 21 Year Old which which is exclusive to travel retail. This is what I thought of the 3 new whiskies..

Hi William. Great review of the new Aultmore range. The 21 and 25 would both suit my fancy. I do enjoy grassy notes.

Cheers for the notes William, Aultmore is a distillery i know little about. I will certainly give the Aultmore 12 a go. Quite a jump in price between the 21 and 25 but they do sound good.

The 12 sounds like a good summer dram and ill definitely be giving it a go. The others, no. I won't be paying those prices for the ages. Plenty of cheaper whiskies out there in that aye range, and plenty of other whiskies in that price range.

I have a bottle of the Aultmore 12, I am not really one for writing tasting notes but i will say Williams description and rating sums up the whisky very well. I am about 1/3 of the way through my bottle and will be happy to buy it again. The 21 and rather expensive 25 does sound good.
