The Pot Still is one of Glasgows most famous pubs and is host to the finest malt whisky collection in Scotland.
It is named after the earliest whisky stills and situated in the bustling city centre of Glasgow at 154 Hope Street.
The pub offer you a choice of no less than 500 bottles of single malt whisky.
Lovers of a good Scotch have come from all over the world to this wonderful little pub and have returned time and time again. The attraction? The hundreds of malt whiskies on display on the impressive gantry. It is not unusual to see Americans, Germans, Swedes, Danes, Japanese and Irish jostling with Glaswegian regulars at the bar for service from the attentive and cheery staff. |

I just lover this pub and always visit it when in Glasgow.
You would be hard pushed to find a better collection of whisky in any pub anywhere in the world.

I was lucky enough to visit the Pot Still bar a few years ago when i was in Scotland. It was one of the best nights of my vacation, great bar and an even better selection of single malts.

Even sadder that the owner, Ken Storrie, passed away earlier this month at the tender age of 46. We had a minute's applause at our festival for him and I attended his cremation which was an extremely touching affair. He will be missed by many.
Who knows what will happen to the pub now. It seemed to be getting back to it's old self before this tragedy. _________________ http://www.thegoodspiritsco.com

| I didnt know Ken but sad news to hear of anyone go so young. I always popped in for a quick one whenever in Glasgow city centre shopping. Hopefully the bar will continue as a whisky bar. |

Hi guys, just wanted to update everyone on the situation at the Pot Still.
Firstly we would like to offer our sympathy to Ken's family and friends. While I personally didn't have the pleasure of having met Ken, much of what I have heard about him is very positive and the hard work he put into the bar is still evident.
So, to the future of this Glaswegian institute...
The new owners, John & Paul, are dedicated to bring the Pot Still back to it's former glory and beyond - not just as THE best whisky bar around, but also offering a great range of cask ale, spirits and wines.
We will also be serving Traditional Scottish lunches - using seasonal produce, locally sourced, during the week, with snacks available at all times.
We look forward to seeing you all in the near future. |

Hi!
We are currently at approx. 250 different expressions, but are definitely looking to get back to the 400 mark as quickly as possible. After that, who knows? I'm sure we can get some more shelves put in! |
