Have I missed this somewhere? Has this been discussed? Can't find it if it has.
I love the Bunnahbhain 12. What's the consensus on Ceobanach? |

I haven't tried the Bunnahabhain Ceobanach yet, it is supposedly a step back in time and replicates the distilleries original style, which back then would have been peaty. Any heavily peated Bunnas I have experienced have usually been very good so i have high hopes for this. I have been told by a couple of sources who's judgement i would trust that the Bunnahabhain Ceobanach is very good, apparently it is around 10 year old although it doesn't carry an age statement.
It isnt widely available here, very few whisky shops seem to be stocking it. _________________ There's no bad whisky. Just good whisky and better whisky. |

| I have only saw it in The Whisky Shop at £60 a bottle, certainly not cheap for a no age statement which is around 10 years old. I did notice that The Whisky Shop has the Bunnahabhain 12 year old priced at £50, is this the next phase of the price hikes being rolled out or just the Whisky Shops forever overpricing |

| I have only saw the Bunnahabhain Ceobanach reviewed by a couple of whisky blogs, the ones who never review any whisky as being poor and never give a rating for any whisky, every free sample whisky they taste is great. So it may be great but it isnt cheap for what it is. |

Sounds interesting. Guess I'll have to try it, since I like the Bunna 12 so much.
Thanks for the info. |
