Yes iwould love to hear some opinions if anyone has tried it.

I wonder if Asda will still stock Talisker 10 year old, hope so.

so any news from people who has tried the skye yet?? well its been on sale for what 5 weeks and its on offer for £27 so does this tell us anythink or am i wrong to think this way

That tells me that Talisker Skye is likely to replace the 10 year old on the shelves of the supermarkets, £33 and reduced down to £"27 is around the same offer we regularly got in the supermarket for the 10 year old. Diageo have in recent times quietly replaced the Singleton of Dufftown 12 and Cardhu 12 on most supermarket shelves with no age statement more expensive expressions.

I don't think the reduction tells us anything about the whisky, it is now the norm to mark up prices then have huge reductions. I am sure this type of marketing works well with the gift buyers and occasional single malt whisky buyers.
