Not for me, another NAS Glenmo at high prices which will no doubt appear on the secondary market for even higher ones.
They seem to be playing on the "rarity" of the barley for this one. Rarenss of Maris Otter is a new one on me, as far as I was aware most of the decent brewers use this and have been doing for quite some time, i notice it mentioned on the back of most bottles of decent beer I buy. _________________ "Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whisky is barely enough." |

| I will certainly be giving it a go given the quality of other bottlings in the series to date. |

Yeah, I know what you mean regarding the 'rarity'.
I believe the Ealanta was a 19yro although it was NAS. No idea about this one though.
I suspect it will be much younger. |

The Glenmorangie Ealanta label stated the vintage 1993 and year of bottling 2012 and it was outstanding IMO and so were the Sonnalta PX which had no age statement, Artein was very good, it was a 15 year old but contained whisky aged between 15 and 21 year old, Finealta was pretty good also.
As i have said i will probably be giving the new Glenmorangie Tusail a go. These are limited releases but there is always plenty to go around so there should be some reviews around before i do buy a bottle. |

| The only disappointment I have had in the series was last years release of the Glenmorangie Companta. As you say Keith there are bound to be some reviews around before taking the plunge to buy a bottle. |

I am no big fan of no age statement whisky but i have to say i have found most of Glenmorangies NAS whiskies to be very good indeed, such as Ealanta, Artein, Sonnalta, Taghta, Signet, Artisan Cask, Astar.
My son is going to pick up a bottle of the new Glenmorangie Dornoch from travel retail for me later this month, looking forward to that as it has had some good reviews including Wiliiam rating it highly on here. |

I would love to try this however with me back in school I will be sticking to the more basic Islay's like Ardbeg 10 and the occasional Ardbeg Uiggie/ _________________ The Laga 16.

I'm drinking this tonight and really enjoying it, I'm more a sherry cask drinker but this is a nice change.
Yes it has no age statement but I think it is value for money. _________________ You can't push anyone up the ladder unless he is ready to climb himself. |

If it matches up to the quality of the Glenmorangie Dornoch I will be more than happy, anyone tried both |

| I have a bottle as it just landed here in the States. I find it to be very sweet but with some bitter granny smith apples mixed in. The barley does come through as well. I wouldn't call it multi-dimensional, and it is very light, but I do like it. I will say though that the price is a bit much. If it were in the range of their older Private Editions, around $75, I would say grab one. I got mine for $90, and although I'm glad I got it, I won't be stocking up like I did with the Artein. |
