| Manitoba Liquor is doing a big promo introduction(!) on the above expression which I thought was or had been discontinued. The price is $CDN 70 or about 36 GBP for 75cl. The store manager informed me that this will replace Big Peat and Peat Chimney which have been discontinued (by Manitoba). What's this stuff like? It can't be as peaty as the two aforementioned malt blends, can it? |

Interesting. Here in Ontario it is not available. I did pick up a bottle of Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve Bullion Special Edition at $79.90 CDN a few months ago but haven't opened it yet. I have not tried the JW Green. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

| Quaich1, they are contemporaneously promoting the JW Double Black at $CDN 75.99. As I remember, a friend brought you a bottle from America recently. |

Interesting. Yes he did. It's not offered here in Ontario. It's a great dram.

| The Johnnie Walker Green Label has certainly disappeared from the UK market which is a pity as it is excellent. It is a blended malt like Big Peat and Peat Chimney but its flavour profile is nothing like them. |

Green label is good. I have a bottle from cross border shopping a year ago. It's a good balance of the four single malts found in it. Caol Ila, Cragganmore, Linkwood, Talisker.
For $70 Cdn, I would definitely get one. _________________ Slainte |
