Great price on this here in Virginia. Haven't tried it.
Some say very maritime . . . opinions? |

| The 12 is a great whisky for the price everywhere i think, zesty, citrusy with a touch of sherry influence, a little coastal saltiness. The Old Pulteney 17 and 21 are superb whiskies also, it is one of those distilleries that just gets better with age. |

Not sure on prices near you but I think the 17 offers best value for money. The 21 is very good but quite expensive, the 17 is actually my favourite of the 3 and usually a decent price.
I don't find it too maritime to be honest. It's got a sprinkle of salt in it and some nice spices. It's not medicinal or fishy or anything, but there is a slight coastal tang to it though. _________________ "Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whisky is barely enough." |
