| There will probably be another NAS bottle coming into the market, I cant see them replacing it with the 12, they might just increase the abunadh ... |

Rumours are probably because it's on offer out of scotch offer season. Glenlivet did this recently with the 12 and then stated it was discontinued. I think this is different. Aberlour 10 is always on offer somewhere, I just think they have loads of the stuff and people know the brand.....its the biggest scotch in France by the way, and Aberlour sell more to he french than any other country......discontinue the 10? Who knows what the distilleries think! Maybe. _________________ "Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whisky is barely enough." |

Here in Maryland they have loads of Aberlour 10 on the shelves. They must have got a huge shipment. It's been on sale the last 3 months.
There is no outer packaging just the plain bottle. _________________ Mike |

| Perhaps they plan on having the Aberlour 12 as the entry level Aberlour expression, it does seem to be appearing on more supermarket shelves than we used to see it on. |

A store owner told me that the 1L-version of the Aberlour 10 was discontinued. I've heard nothing about the 0,7L-version.
The 10yo is not on the official website. don't know if that means something, or if it has always been like that.
Anyway, since they already have two different 12yo whiskies and also a 15yo, 16yo and 18yo, I doubt anyone will miss the 10yo if it is true. _________________

"Just to clarify the points raised regarding Aberlour 10yo, it will continue to be sold in both the UK and France where as other countries around the world will have the 12yo, 16yo, 18yo and A'bundh as the core range(available in UK also).
We see a great future for Aberlour and by establishing a strong core range globally we look forward to even more interest in our whiskies.

Looks like they are doing a Glenlivet and selling it to specific markets only and removing it from others. No surprises there then as it's always a decent seller here and probably the biggest single malt in France. _________________ "Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whisky is barely enough." |

| To be honest I'm not a big fan of the 10 so as long as I have the A'bunadh I'm happy. |

| That's so true, but at cask strength a bottle can last twice as long if you add water ( so I'm told ! ) |
