I just noticed this whisky on the LCBO site in Ontario. Here is their description of this expression:

Release Date:October 15, 2012

700 mL bottleAlcohol/Vol46.0%Made in:Ontario, CanadaBy:Premium Bottlers Inc.

DescriptionThis is comprised of 99% 11 Years Old Blair Athol Single Malt Scotch from a single cask, blended with 1% 12 Years Old Canadian Single Malt Whisky. The resulting marriage delivers a nose of pears and smoke with an intriguing suggestion of peppermint. The palate is full bodied and well rounded, offering nice complexity throughout the lengthy finish. Only 384 bottles produced.

Sounds interesting. Comments?

$85.90 Canadian funds or 46.46 British pounds.

As you say Murray, sounds interesting, I wonder what the 1% Canadian single malt is as i dont think Canada produces many single malts, just Glen Breton comes to mind.
