Burn Stewart Distillers has released a new permanent addition to the Deanston core range of whiskies, the Deanston 18 Year Old. Matured in hogshead casks before being finished in first fill Kentucky bourbon casks.




Unchill-filtered and bottled at 46.3% ABV. The new Deanston 18 year old will be available in the UK and across select international territories including Europe, North America and Asia. It will be available from whisky specialist shops such as The Whisky Exchange
RRP £80.

On Monday I'm visiting Deanston distillery, I hope to try it there.

Bought a couple of bottles so enjoying it this weekend. A step up from the 12 and Virgin Oak with added complexity but still subtle and approachable. It's lacking the full on nature of some of their distillery exclusives (Toasted Oak, Spanish Oak) but a thumbs up so far.

Enjoy the distillery and a great place for a spot of lunch.
