We are now complaining about stiff corporate mentality and irrational decisions by Diego current management; just wait till Brazilian "wonder boys"? starts planning new directions for Scottish single malt.Idea

If this is true, it would be a major shake-up in the whisky industry to say the least. Idea

Knowing Brazilian business trends, I don't believe that there is a great desire for this kind of takeover.

Diageo is ripe for a takeover. Not been performing at all well since the last CEO Walsh left. Share price has languished and compared to other drink manufacturers has not seen sales increase in developing markets. I can't see this deal happening but this is probably the prelude to a another player coming - an InBev or similar.
