Hey everyone,
Currently in the process of selling some bits as part of the estate of a recently deceased former RAF serviceman. I'm selling this on behalf of his daughter, money's a bit tight at the moment since his passing.
Basically we came across a bottle of commemorative Speyside Malt whisky, and were hoping if you lot knew it was worth anything, maybe to a collector? I've posted in the memorabilia section of the RAF forum to see if they know anything about it too.
Here's a link to some pictures of the bottle (slightly obscured: 40% vol and 70cl):

Thanks for you time! |

| This is a difficult one to put a value on as it doesnt state which Speyside distillery the whisky was produced at. Without knowing the distillery i would guess £40 - £100, having said that if you had interest from military collectors then you may get more. Just my opinion you may get a lot more, good luck with the sale. |

| The RAF connection could add some value for some, it really is a hard one to predict, if you knew the distillery it would be easier to value, I hope you get a good price |

We know the bottle was produced by Gordon & MacPhail, so I may contact them and ask if they have it on record.

Yeah, it's all money in the house kitty!
Another avenue may be to raffle it, some of the RAF chaps on their forum suggested this so we may end up doing that.
Thanks for the input guys! |
