One can purchase several single malt scotch expressions at the premium level for the price of one of these. It seems more for the esoteric collector in my opinion.
$1350 CDN can buy you some exceptional whiskies. For example, 4 bottles of Macallan Ruby and change back and you can buy them locally in Canada.

If you are considering it as an investment you may have to keep it some time and still may not make much if anything on this one i would say.
It was released at £1000 and i have seen it sell at auction for less, here is an example of a bottle selling for £ 820 earlier this year. |
